Cloudflare provides content delivery network services, cloud cybersecurity, DDoS mitigation, and domain registration services. Founded in 2009 by Matthew Prince, Lee Holloway, and Michelle Zatlyn, Cloudflare has grown to become a leading internet infrastructure and security company. Cloudflare operates one of the largest global networks, with services in 275 cities across more than 100 countries.
Roughly 18% of all websites use Cloudflare, including major sites like Netflix.com, NYTimes.com, and Nih.gov. Cloudflare was venture-capital funded in 2009 and went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2019.
